So I saw in my dream, that just as Christian came up to the Cross his burden loosed from off his shoulders, and fell from off his back, and began to
tumble; and so continued to do till it came to the mouth of the sepulchre, where it fell in, and I saw it no more.
Then was Christian glad saying with a merry heart, "He hath given me rest by his sorrow, And life by his death." - Pilgrims Progress
To be sure, I totally get the heart and intention of this clip. Very nice. But my question is, where in scripture does it say that God's requirement for salvation is to "honor" and "embrace" Jesus Christ? Last time I checked, pretty much nowhere. Rather, it says over and over again that the requirement for salvation is for us to repent and put our trust/faith in Jesus Christ. You can honor and embrace Jesus without ever having the Godly sorrow of repentance for sin(s) which leads to salvation. People who merely "honor" and "embrace", whatever that means, are likely missing salvation while believing otherwise.
